Trumpet Club UK creates space for the practical skills that do not always fit into a traditional lesson—from listening and leading in an ensemble to using a microphone, playing in a pit and recording yourself.
The club works alongside each pupil’s existing lessons. Players are welcome whatever their ability and whoever their regular teacher may be.

Meet Jemma.
Jemma Andrews is an Essex-based professional trumpeter and educator. Her work spans solo performance, ensemble playing, education and community music.
Trumpet Club UK draws on that real-world experience while working in conjunction with a pupil’s regular lessons, whoever their teacher may be.

Does the club replace regular trumpet lessons?
No. Trumpet Club UK supplements and works alongside a pupil’s existing lessons. It focuses on practical group musicianship that may not always fit into one-to-one tuition.
Can a pupil study with another teacher?
Yes. Pupils can have regular lessons with any teacher. Jemma does not need to be their existing trumpet teacher.
Who can take part?
The club is for trumpet players aged 8–18 at any ability level, from complete beginners to advanced young musicians.
Where in Essex are sessions held?
The exact venue is shared privately after a parent or guardian requests a place and Jemma follows up.
What should pupils bring?
Jemma will confirm what is needed before the session, including any music or equipment required for that particular week.
How long is each session?
Sessions last between one and two hours and take place fortnightly on Sundays at 13:00.
How much does it cost?
The fee is £15 per session. Jemma will confirm practical payment arrangements when she follows up.
